     The 2009 VBS mainline theme is "Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus" and utilizes 1 John 4:9 as the Scripture them. Here is a brief description of the them interpretation and concept.:

 --Hop on board LifeWay's "Boomerang Express" (mainline literature product) as VBS 2009 takes a training ride across the Land Down Under! As kids wind their way through Australia, they'll discover the vastness of God's love, and they'll learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life--it all comes back to Jesus. This no-worries, evangelistic VBS is exactly what you are looking for! 

--Also in 2009, LifeWay's Club VBS: "Truth Trek" (alternative line product) is based on Proverbs 7:1. This adventure helps kids uncover the treasures of God's truth. As they dig into God's Word, kids will learn Jesus is the power by which they live.

     So get ready for a real adventure with Jesus Christ on our "Boomerang Express" train ride or head out for an archaeological dig with "Truth Trek" through VBS 2009 this summer!
