Serving the Association of Churches in CHRIST's name since 11/01/2004.
Dr. Rick Seaton serves as the Sr. Pastor at FBC Kahoka. Dr. Seaton filled the unexpired term of Rev. Robert Shobe, Sr. Pastor at FBC Hurdland, who recently resigned as Moderator. At the 21st MSWSBA Annual Meeting in August of 2007, Dr. Seaton was elected to serve his own term as Moderator of the Association.
Rev. Douglas Wilson serves as our Assistant Moderator. He currently serves as Pastor at Knox City Baptist Church in Knox CIty, Missouri. Bro. Doug serves as a bi-vocational pastor and also is employed in his tent-making vocation as a "Political Writer" for the Quincy-Herald Whig newspaper in Quincy, Illinois.
Violet Brownell serves as our very capable Clerk, having begun her duties on August 25, 2007. She follows in the foot steps of Brenda Sharpe who served as Clerk for the previous 10 years.
Violet has actively served as Assistant Clerk for the past 6 years, and was responsible for typing, scanning, and editing copy to publish the Annual Minutes of the MSWSBA, having met in annual session each year. She is a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church, and also the wife of Rev. Russell Brownell, Pastor of Ten Mile Baptist Church. She further currently serves as our Missions Team Leader.
Rev. Russell Brownell serves as Treasurer, and also is the Pastor at Ten Mile Baptist Church of rural Canton, MO. He serves the church as a bi-vocational pastor and also has employment in his tent-making vocation as a "Substitute Postmaster" in Maywood and throughout eastern Lewis County, Missouri.
Bro. Russell has also served as our very capable and dedicated Camp Cook for more years than anyone cares to count (not even himself), and is also our current Historian.
